My General Cancer Rosary can be used for any type of cancer!!  50% of the profit from this rosary goes to either the National Foundation for Cancer Research or the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research (your choice). 

BEADS: 6mm Eagle Eye Stone Beads
CENTER/CHARM: American made, pewter heart with engraved tear and custom made St. Peregrine medal
CRUCIFIX: American made, pewter Sacred Heart crucifix
WIRE/CHAIN: 20 gauge nickel wire/20g nickel round link chain
LENGTH: 20 inches

Unlike store bought rosaries, I use bows instead of jump rings for added durability.

Rosary Symbolism

SPECIAL BLESSINGS:  The cross and center represent both the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. They are a reminder to never forget the 12 Promises.

PRAYER:  This rosary is a reminder to pray, pray, pray. Pray for a cure. Pray for whatever is best for those involved. Pray for the researchers and drug companies so that they keep on track and disregard that nagging greed and corruption that tempts them every day.

SUPPORT:  The heart shaped center shows Mother Mary crying on the front, symbolic of the many tears shed by those affected by this illness. She feels our pain and we need to use her as a part of our support system. The back of the center features the Ecce Homo. It is a reminder of Christ's suffering. If anyone knows what it's like to suffer, He does!! He is another source for support and guidance when we need it the most.

SAINTS: The charm attached to the center is of St. Peregrine who is the patron saint of Cancer.  Click here for more information about this wonderful saint.   The saints are an important resource for us, especially when times get rough.
