When I started my business I decided to use the name Speziale in honor of my Great Uncle Dan Speziale (who, even though we never got the chance to meet, I’ve always felt a strong connection to). He was a MP in the military, but he was also a quiet man with a kind heart and a gentle spirit. He died very young (before I was born) from an injury received in a fight. He was in a bar on Bourbon Street in New Orleans when he witnessed a man being assaulted. Without thinking he grabbed the attacker by the throat (so the victim could escape). That was when he was hit over the head from behind with a bar stool. Several years later the resulting blood clot took his life after he slipped and fell on the ice outside his home. He was only in his 40’s. He is sorely missed!
We are a 100% nonprofit company with all money going to a short list of very worthy charities including various cancer research organizations, fibromyalgia research, children orphaned by AIDs, and the VFW’s unmet needs program for our most AWESOME veterans. Customer Service and Return Policy: Your satisfaction is guaranteed!! If you are not happy with your online purchase you may return it within 30 days of payment for a Full Refund!! The only exceptions are custom rosaries (since those are handmade according to your specifications) and special order rosary parts. All return shipping and insurance charges will be the responsibility of the customer. Remember: If you are uncomfortable with computers, I would be happy to create your order for you. Just copy and paste your shopping cart into an E-mail (or describe what type of rosary you need) and send it to rosarystuff@yahoo.com. Then I will create your invoice and send a confirmation E-mail back to you with shipping and payment details. Freebies: I often have people asking for freebies. Things like, pouches, discounts on rosaries, booklets, free shipping, or even free shipping supplies. I try my best to keep my prices reasonable which is why my profit margin is so much lower than other seller’s. I will always do my best to keep my prices low, but just keep in mind when purchasing the more expensive sterling, stone, or Swarovski crystal rosaries, you are getting a better price from me than you will from most other sellers. The 20g wire and 18g chain used on my more expensive items are much thicker than what you will find elsewhere. The reason I bring this up is because it makes me feel horribly guilty when people want something for free and I can’t afford to give it. Most other sellers take their cost for supplies and double it to come up with their prices. That’s something I’ve never done because when choosing Swarovski, sterling, and some stones your cost would almost double. For example, one of my $80.00 solid sterling and Swarovski rosaries would sell at another company for between $120.00-$160.00. This is also the reason why I don’t guarantee out of state rosaries for repairs. Since my margins are so low, I can’t afford to pay the extra shipping costs back and forth. Payment Policy: Payment is due within 10 DAYS OF PURCHASE. Buyers in the state of Colorado will be charged up to 8.45% sales tax (depending upon where you live). Buyers in all other states may be liable for sales/use taxes. Please contact your local city/county/state government for more information on how to pay those taxes. When paying with credit card PLEASE remember to click on the CONFIRM YOUR ORDER LINK after making your payment otherwise your items will not be pulled from inventory and you will not receive your E-mail invoice. I accept credit cards (through PayPal) and money orders. Money orders may be made out to either Rosaries by Speziale or Phyllis Krattenmaker. Please send to: *** Fraud Protection *** If you purchase from both my store and my live auctions, I can E-mail you a combined Pay Pal invoice so you only have to pay with one payment (which will save you at least $2.50 in shipping fees)!! Shipping Policy: U.S Shipping is a FLAT $2.50 if all items are paid for WITH 1 PAYMENT. The flat fee doesn’t apply for those who pay with multiple payments (since I get clobbered by additional credit card fees). I ship Monday through Friday and some Saturdays (depending on whether I have enough time to process the payment before the post office closes). Canadian Shipping is a FLAT $4.00 when all items are paid for with 1 payment, but other shipping options may be available depending on where you live. Basic first class international shipping is, unfortunately, not guaranteed through the US Postal Service because it does not include tracking or insurance. If you are interested in other shipping options, tracking, or insurance, please contact me directly for details. Without some sort of tracking or insurance I am unable to guarantee delivery of product once the package leaves my hands. I’m also unable to give an accurate estimate of delivery time for Canada because of customs. If a package gets held up in customs, I can’t say how long it might be there. It really depends on the Canadian government at that point. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Canadian customers need to contact me directly TO PLACE AN ORDER. Due to a computer glitch I am unable to add the basic Canadian shipping option to the online store’s check-out process at this time, so contacting me ahead of time will allow me to manually add that for you. In situations where we receive 2 different “ship to” addresses, your items will be sent to the shipping address on your Speziale account. If your package is returned to sender due to a wrong address, you will be responsible for the cost to re-ship your items. Seriously, it can take MONTHS for the post office to return an undeliverable package. Please be sure to check and make sure I have the CORRECT shipping addresses. Shipping Insurance is optional and costs $1.85 for totals under $50.00, $2.35 for totals up to $100.00 and $2.90 up to $200.00. Insurance is strongly recommended: I'm sorry, but I can't be held responsible for uninsured, lost items since I have no control over any package once it leaves my hands. **New Lead Law Restricts Rosary Availability for Children** The new Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (created as a solution to Chinese manufactured items containing toxic levels of lead and/or phthalates) is now in full effect. What does this mean to you? Unfortunately, this new law now requires small businesses like mine to pay for expensive and destructive 3rd party testing, certification, and permanent labeling for every item we sell. This new cost would be well over $150.00 per rosary. As a result, my rosaries, supplies, charms, and pins are no longer recommended for any child under the age of 13 years old. If you would like to request prayer beads and religious articles be exempted from the list of banned items or if you would like to voice your opinion, please contact your local state Senator or Congressman.
